Biography

Born in Pisa, Italy, and have been living in Malta since the 1960's. Studied at the University of Malta and graduated in Medicine & Surgery in 1975. For many years practiced medicine as well as looking after the business interests of the family owned company operating in healthcare locally and in North Africa. Also hold a masters in business administration. Held various senior posts in the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Italian Chamber of Commerce of which I was President for fifteen years and for which long service, I was awarded the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of the Italian Republic. Appointed Honorary Consul of Bangladesh in 1990.
