Biography

Being passionate about business and technology Simon Arrigo received his Bachelor of Science in Business and Computing in 2005, and his Executive MBA in eBusiness in 2009, both from the University of Malta. He continued his studies in various aspects of business while gaining valuable experience in business at an international level.

Simon held various positions in management and is today involved directly, and as a supporting role in multiple entities.

In 2019 Simon was appointed Honorary Consul General for the Republic of Finland in Malta, a position his father, the late Comm. Edgar E Arrigo held for many years.

Biography

George had set up his own business at ‘The GL Company Ltd’ and is currently an Entrepreneur – Business Consultant with ‘The GL Company Ltd’ based in Ibragg (Swieqi). In 1989 was appointed as Honorary Vice Consul for Finland. His late father (Oswald) was Honorary Vice Consul for Finland since 1937. In 1999 was given the title of Chevalier of the Order of the White Rose of Finland by the President of the Republic of Finland. The Honorary Vice Consulate promotes relations between Finland and Malta and assists Finnish citizens that reside and work in Malta and also assists Finnish tourists visiting Malta on holiday.
