Biography

Our family has had the honour of representing the Royal Kingdom of Thailand in Malta since 1884, when C Micallef Eynaud was appointed Honorary Consul. 

In 1907, the then Consul, S Micallef Eynaud was presented to his Majesty King Rama V, during his Majesty’s visit to Malta. We are one of the longest serving Consulates in Malta.

I was appointed to the post of Honorary Consul in 2016. I am a doctor and Ophthalmic surgeon by profession. I spent 11 years in the UK pursuing my postgraduate training, after which, I returned to Malta where I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Mater Dei Hospital and in private practice. 

I promote the enhancement of good relations between Malta and Thailand in Culture, Commerce and Business exchange, and by promoting Thai products to Maltese Business in Malta, as well as assisting and promoting Malta’s products, in Thailand.

My family and I were honoured to be presented Her Royal Highness, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, during her private visit to Malta in 2014.
