Biography

Ian Scerri is an accountant by profession and the Financial Director of Triton Group in Malta. At an early age during his studies he joined the family business focusing on finance. Triton Group has been hosting the consulate of Ukraine in Malta since 1997 and thus it was natural for him to show interest in the role of Honorary Consul from an early age.

The main duties of the Honorary Consul at the moment are mainly dedicated to assist the influx of Ukrainian nationals seeking refuge in Malta due to the ongoing illegal invasion of Ukraine apart from promoting cultural and economic activities between the two countries.
